I didn't realize Prescriptives was folding. Didn't Stila as well?

not as far i know. i think Stila is still going strong (a popular brand for Sephora & Ulta anyways). last i heard Lauder sold Stila back to Stila corp in 2006.

Hmm, then maybe it is just folding in France, I have heard that Stila would not be available here anymore so I assumed it was the same worldwide.

JA, unbenounced to me Stila was bought out again and in an effort to stay afloat(earlier this year they were in the process of refinancing) has been pulled in certain countries, including France.
Lauder's withdrawal of mega-bucks backing, certainly didn't bode well for Stila...To be honest i can't say i'll really miss the line. i've bought a handful of products from them over the years (product performance didn't impress me)and mainly for their (then) innovative packaging and i'll keep it at that. However, it's still very sad to see any company go down built and realized through sweat, tears, conviction and singular vision, including Jeanine Lobell's Stila.
